Danish 3F Superliga appoints Spring Media as distribution partner
The international full-service agency to represent 3F Superliga media rights outside of the Nordics until 2027.
The Danish 3F Superliga and Spring Media have agreed a 3-season deal to distribute the top men’s football league outside the Nordics.
“We are very excited to partner with Spring Media - an agency we believe has the perfect credibility and lineup to represent 3F Superliga internationally,” said Claus Thomsen, CEO of Superligaen A/S. “The 3F Superliga is Denmark's most popular domestic sports competition, but we also see a competitive edge with our product on the international scene and look forward to bringing exciting action, atmosphere and new talent to football fans abroad.”
Danish football has seen continual prominence across the Nordics, with its major brands regularly featuring in European club competitions and talents fostered in the league rising to international stardom.
“The 3F Superliga is a very attractive competition with great commercial possibilities,” said Sabine Kesseler, Commercial Director, Spring Media. “It is a perfect blend of the modern game and philosophy that’s so beautiful to watch, with a deep-rooted fandom culture in the stands.”
The 2024/25 Danish football season is ongoing, running from August through May, offering 192 matches across the regular and playoff stages.
As of 2024, Spring Media is also representing the women’s top tier in which the Stockholm-based agency deploys in-house production services and its Staylive powered OTT to showcase all league matches in a direct-to-consumer environment.
