Spring Media strengthens commercial team with new hires
Spring Media continues to expand its international sales organization, building on the combined salesforce from recent acquisitions
Following the group’s recent acquisitions of Hogmore and Athletic Sports Group, the Sports Media agency Spring Media continues to grow its international sales team to further expand its global footprint. The group-wide sales team now includes more than 20 sales executives, spread over nine countries.
David Hunt appointed Commercial Director, UK & Ireland
Coming from DAZN Broadcast Partnerships where he held a position as VP Content and Broadcasting, and with previous experience from ESPN, Hunt assumes the role as Spring Media’s Commercial Director for UK & Ireland. The role plays an integral part in growing the group’s business within the region and driving development within existing client partnerships with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and DAZN.
Ludvig Gårdebäck appointed Commercial Director, Football
Coming from OneFootball, with a solid background in the media rights business from both the buy side and the sell side, Gårdebäck brings key industry experience to support Spring Media with business development and regional sales as Commercial Director, Football. Gårdebäck’s background also includes senior roles at Telia and Lagardére.
Maxime Devillaz appointed Head of Sales Operations
After his time as project manager at Viaplay, where he handled key projects such as the onsite production of the IHF 2023 World Men’s Championships and all unilateral services for the Formula 1 season, Devillaz returns to Spring Media as Head of Sales Operations.
Marcus Alm appointed Vice President Sales
Marcus Alm assumes the newly created role of Vice President Sales, Spring Media, reporting to Spring Media group CEO. Alm is promoted internally, coming from being Head of Operations and having spent more than 8 years at Spring Media.
